What Is Resin Cutting Wheel?
Â
The great secret of the manufacturers of grinding wheels could be said to be the binder, whose function is to agglomerate the grains of superabrasive and to be able to fix them to the grinding wheel. Resin is the most widely used bond in the manufacture of superabrasive grinding wheels due to its characteristics, which combine different advantages, allowing for fast results and low heating of the piece.
We manufacture resin cutting wheels. If you need wheels to cut all kinds of materials made of resin, do not hesitate to contact us for a quote for the manufacture of resin cutting wheels. We are specialists in the manufacture of customized resin cutting wheels.
Use Of Resin Cutting Wheel
Â
Cut metal
A resin cutting wheel is a cutting tool suitable for iron and other non-metallic materials. Its main advantage is that it does not produce too high a temperature when cutting the metal, and does not damage the metal surface and the cutting wheel itself. At the same time, the resin cutting wheel can guarantee a long service life because of its tight structure and high hardness.
Sand and polish
Another major application of resin cut sheets is in grinding and polishing work. Due to the high hardness of the resin cutting sheet itself, it can be used as a grinding and polishing tool when dealing with some workpieces that do not require a high degree of precision.
In practical applications, resin cutting sheet is widely used in stone, ceramics, glass, plastic, and other non-metallic materials cutting and polishing.
Cleaning Method and Installation of Resin Cutting Wheel
Â
The cleaning method
In the production process, the emery wheel is used for grinding on the belt. Generally, the grinding wheel should be removed and cleaned after 5-7 days of operation. Now we soak it in acetone for 2 hours and then clean it with a cleaning agent.
Cleaning requirements
1. To be environmentally friendly, free of ketones, not halogenated hydrocarbons.
2. Can not damage the diamond wheel.
Installation Instructions
Grinding wheels must be carefully checked and identified before installation. The steps to check and identify are:
1. Check that the grinding wheel is the correct grade and that it matches the performance, shape, and size of all selected grinding wheels.
2. Check and identify the appearance and structure of the grinding wheel. Visually inspect the wheel for damage (or cracks). Grinding wheels that are visually damaged (or cracked) cannot be used. In addition, it is also required that both ends of the grinding wheel be flat, and there must be no obvious skew.
3. Check and identify internal cracks in the grinding wheel. Hold the grinding wheel by hand, and tap the grinding wheel with a wooden hammer to listen to the sound, the grinding wheel without cracks makes a crisp sound, and the grinding wheel with cracks makes a hoarse sound, which cannot be used.
